A seven member jury has found a St. Andrew couple guilty of the 2007 murder of UWI lecturer, Dr. Peter Vogel.
Yanika Scott, his live-in helper, and her boyfriend, Kelvin Downer, were found guilty on Thursday afternoon.
They are to be sentenced on July 28 before the Home Circuit Court.
Dr. Vogel was found murdered at his home in College Commons, St. Andrew on July 19, 2007.
Ms Scott and her boyfriend told the court that gunmen entered the home on the night in question.
The couple went into hiding after the murder.
They testified that they panicked and failed to report the incident to the police.
