The Meteorological Service has extended the Flash Flood Watch for low-lying and flood-prone areas of all parishes.
The Flash Flood Watch will remain until 5 o’clock this afternoon.
The Met Office says Satellite imagery and radar reports indicate that light to moderate and at times heavy showers have been occurring across sections of most parishes since last night into this morning.
It says showers and thunderstorms, which could be heavy at times, are expected to continue to affect sections of most parishes through to Thursday morning.
Flash flooding is, therefore, a possibility over some low-lying and flood-prone areas.
The Met Office says a Trough across the western Caribbean continues to influence weather conditions across the island.
Additionally, a Tropical Wave is expected to move across the island today.
